Lighting Wedding / Speedy-Wedding

You have contacted the Danish Community Corporation (Dänische Kommunal-Cooperative) that was instructed from Faaborg-Midtfyn community to take over all applications, of pairs there want to merry in this community.
When you take contact to us, you are consequently in connection with the citizen service of Faaborg city hall and not a travel agency.

Faaborg-Midtfyn Community is one of the fastest and most adaptable communities in Denmark.
Faaborg has easier conditions as other communities in Denmark.
What not will succeed in another community will have success in Faaborg.

Hereby we would like to wish you quite heartily welcome in "Faaborg-Midtfyn commune" and in the city "Faaborg."

The "Lighting Wedding", also called Speedy Wedding, is a standard wedding and forms part of our "Economy Class"

Its sole aim is to organize a marriage quickly, simply and economically.

With a wedding in Faaborg community marriage ceremonies can only take place on a Tuesday.

For example: If the marriage ceremony is desired on a Tuesday, the bride and groom must register in person at the registry office on Monday. (One day before the wedding).

Time of Registration on the preceding day
The time for registering in person differs from one registry office to another. At some registry offices.
Registration has to be made between 13 pm and 14 pm.

With hotel accommodation the days on which weddings can take place are clearly marked, to avoid any unnecessary questions.

With a "lightning wedding" the main requirement is that the arrival and the registration in person must take place one day before the actual wedding and that at least one night must be spent in the appropriate community before the marriage.

You are not allowed to spend the night outside the area for which the registry office is responsible.
The registry office also checks whether you have really spent the night as required. If this is not the fact, then the wedding will be cancelled.
We will be pleased to make suitable hotel reservations without any additional charge.

Witnesses for the wedding can be provided free of charge between Tuesday and Friday.
You are of course welcome to bring your own witnesses with you.

This means that in effect you require two days for a "Lightning Wedding".

Day 1: arrival, personal appearance at the registry office and check-in at the hotel.

Day 2: breakfast at the hotel, wedding at the town hall and departure.

With a "Lightning Wedding" you cannot choose the wedding location yourself - this is done by the authorities with which we have special contracts. Therefore you do not have a free choice of towns.

If you choose the town yourself, then you will have to accept the requirements made by that authority and this generally means that you will be required to spend several days in the area for which the registry office is responsible.

The wedding location can only be fixed and booked when all the conditions have been met in full.

The time you will need for preparations
For applicants who never have been married before (Marry tale status: "Single") or widowed persons the period for processing complete and correct applications is minimum 18 days from the date of receipt of payment.

It is not possible to shorten this procedure, if you send us your application by postal mail.
Therefore it would be unwise to apply for a wedding date which lies within these 18 days.

This means that all documents and payment must reach us no later than 18 days before your departure for Denmark.
Don't underflow the minimum Deadline and read careful the section: "Pricing policy and its conditions"

No wedding dates can be reserved only by telephone!
Wedding dates can only be reserved if all records and the full payment have received by us. No exceptions.
Available dates will be given at the one that first comes.
Your own activity determines the desired result consequently.

Now we come to the documents required

Please note: Every person can have different conditions.
One person has never been married before, another are divorced or widowed.
In the first example here we only talk about persons with American citizenship and soldier of the US-Army with the marital status "Single".
That means that no of the both persons has been married before.

Before you book your wedding, please take a few minutes' time for our business terms and conditions. Clear legal rules are an integral part of a successful business procedure. These rules are part of the contract you enter into with us and they must be followed without exception.

Our business terms and conditions of payment are easy to understand. They are not expressed in legal language and should be understandable for everyone, whatever their academic background.

Please do not make a booking before you are quite certain that you can fulfil all the conditions of you booking.
A booking is binding and changes in the confirmed dates cost money and prevent us from processing your order quickly.

Hotels: Please choose the form of accommodation you desire from the appropriate list in our questionnaire on "Arrival and Departure".

The procedures you must follow are explained clearly, step by step, in our brochure. Please follow these procedures carefully. Your failure to do so may result in our rejection of your application.

Please read everything in this brochure carefully and follow our rules without exception, if you wish to take advantage of our service offer.
Success is the result of perfect reading and following of the rules.

Incoming mail
Documents which are sent to us are registered in our postal section. The dispatcher's name is recorded in the list of incoming post. The envelope is opened there and the contents checked.

If payment has been made correctly, the documents are transferred to our secretarial section and our service goes into action.

If payment has not yet been received, our service cannot be activated and the documents will be stored in the postal section until payment is received.

We regret that some people's failure to make prompt payment has forced us to apply this procedure so strictly and hope that it meets with your understanding.

Please read our business terms and conditions carefully. If there is anything which you do not clearly understand please give us a call.

Step Two

Waiting for or travel documents

From now on you do not need to do anything.
A phone call enquiring about the whereabouts of the documents is not necessary and would even be a hindrance for our employee, who would have to interrupt her intensive work.

Phone calls do not speed up the processing but rather more prevent our employee from progressing smoothly with her work, because of the continual interruptions.

Phone calls automatically prolong the processing time for the documents by one day, because the otherwise automatic progress of the procedure is interrupted.

We try at all costs not to adopt typical German procedures ….

…and assume that you have come to our company, because you would like to avoid bureaucracy.

If you nevertheless require confirmation of receipt of payment and the documents, please make a note of this in the Arrivals and Departures questionnaire (5).

Provided that you have entered your E-mail address in clearly legible writing, we will inform you of receipt by E-mail within 2 days.

If anything is missing or something is not correct with the documents or we still have some questions, we will get in contact with you.

If the documents arrive more than 2 weeks in advance of the date of arrival, we will wait until 14 days before this date and then send you them automatically.

If the date of arrival is within 14 days we will dispatch the documents without further delay.

If the desired wedding date, the hotel and the date of arrival and departure have already been entered in the questionnaire form, we will automatically send you the travel documents. You do not need to contact us.

If the desired wedding date and your choice of hotel accommodation have not yet been entered in this form, we will immediately let you know by postcard, E-mail, SMS or fax.


If there are still any details which need clarification, then we will give you a call.

Please do not forget to give us the address to which your travel documents should be sent.

The wedding and travel documents contain all the information you will require for your marriage at the registry office and have been put together carefully so that you can hardly make a mistake.

They include the exact address and location of the registry office, a town map with a detailed description of the route to the registry office, the name of the person to be contacted at the town hall, the time for registration, the time for the actual wedding, the details of your arrival and departure, a map with your travel route clearly indicated, a map of the area with an index of street names and details of your hotel's exact location.
We are sure that you will find that nothing is missing.

1 Step: Drive on the autobahn to "Wiesbadener Kreutz"
2 Step: Here you take the exit "Mainz-Wiesbaden" Autobahn A 66 and drive until the exit: Mainz-Kastel. This is also the exit to the Military Airfield (also whiten). Here you will come out on the highroad (Bundesstrasse) no. 455.

The height of the prices is different and depends on it, when the wedding should take place and when it is booked.

The below mentioned price is valid for the service per normal standard mail and only on condition, that all documents and the full payment were received by us timely before the arrival.

The advancement in a higher price category will happen, if your application, documents or payments will underflow the Deadline.
You decide consequently self the price rate with your activity.
….Early planning and booking saves money.

There are the budget prices for early booking and the most expensive for people, they all defer until the last moment.
Why so many people everything delays until the last moment is incomprehensible for us. Who plans to marry normally knows and plans this several months in advance.
All prices categories are interconnected with a deadline.

Payment in cash can be paid direct in our office only in European currency (€) or in Danish currency.
You can also pay by bank transfer in European currency.
We don't take credit cards.

TERMS OF PAYMENT and there conditions

§1. The processing of your paperwork will first start when
1.) We have received your complete papers and
2.) The appropriate fee has been credited on our bank account or paid in cash.
Payments can be paid in cash in our office or done by bank transfer.
The fee must be on our account before we start with the paper work and send you all the necessary information concerning your travel to Denmark.
With sending or giving us your papers, you confirm automatically the terms of payment and the business conditions fore this Service group you book.
Attention Deadlines: Every offer can have different "Deadlines" (minimum filing limit). These "Deadlines" are declared as working days and are clearly written by every offer. Every underflow of minimum limit of 18 days will automatically cost 100 € additional (Extra) to the normal fees in the price list.
If all shall run to the normal standard price, please hold all conditions to the limit.
By offer A-1-FR with possibility of discount through early booking you can get the best price by delivering your documents and payment very early.
By delivering more than 90 days before the wedding you get the best price and the highest price will be by delivering into the minimum deadline of 18 days before the wedding. By underflow of the minimum deadline of 18 days will cost you 100 € additional to the normal fee.
§ 2. Payment by bank transfer
(We don't take payment paid by check and credit card)
We can start with the paperwork at once if you make a "Direct Pay-In" on our bank account by a Bank with the name "Post Bank".
If you go to another Bank institute with another name, you can't make a "Direct Pay-In". Here you can only give the bank an order to transfer the money to our bank. By bank transfer we will first start the paperwork after the money has been credited on our account. A receipt of the bank transfer can't guarantee that the payment will be credited. Bank transfer can take about 4-5 days and should not be done if it is an urgent case. If you are in hurry, we can also send the Travel documents back by "UPS" In this case you have to pay 25 € extra to the Service fee (by delivery between Monday and Friday). (Delivering to APO addresses is not possible. Here you need a real postal address with name of streets and area code.)
The price is valid for delivery inside Germany. Delivering in to other States it's necessary to ask us after the price. This is valid, if offers not saying others.
By "Service offer S-1/A-2 (High Speed Wedding) and "A-1-FR-All Inclusive" are the fee for the city hall included in the price. Wedding dates/reservations for persons who are divorced or widowed can only be fixed if the divorce decree(s) or dead certificates fulfill all conditions. They are written clearly in the Information.
All the required papers have to been sent with normal mail and not by registered Mail. By all payments please doesn't forget to indicate the names of both partners on the transfer slip. If you send us money from other countries - If you transfer money from other countries they no European currency has then take care that the bank will send us amount in full height.
§3. Receiving & mailing of documents
- We can not take over the responsibility for late arrivals of your mail caused by the German mail.
You have to send your papers right on time and to fulfill all the requirements.
The complete papers have to send by normal postal mail. By Offer "A-1-FR Standard", "A-1-FR-PLUS" and "A-1-FR-All-Inclusive" All documents and the full payment have to be by us minimum 18 days before departure to Denmark. By offer A-1-RR and "A-1-AEK" we need all documents and the full payment minimum 30 days before departure to Denmark. By offer "A-2 High Speed Wedding" we need all documents and the full payment minimum 35 days before the planed wedding date.
If it's an urgent case, we can send back the travel papers by UPS if you pay 25 € plus in advance. Delivering by UPS only to German postal addresses and not to APO addresses.
§ 4. Responsibility of original documents - We can't take over the responsibility of your papers and original documents which got lost in the mail so that it is more secure if you send to us notified copies. (Divorce decrees and dead certificates must be in original) If you send us documents and against our conditions not have paid the fee for the service and you want to have this document back by postal mail, then you must pay for the emerging costs. Stamps - package and transportation to the mailbox.
For this service we take 10 € for sending the documents by normal postal way.
In case that you not pay this fee latest 30 days after receiving the documents, your accept that the documents will be destroyed after 90 days.
§5. Location of the speedy wedding - You can't choose your own wedding location if you want to use Service group A-1 and "S-1/ A-2/MA / NA".
By Service group A-1-FR the Marriage will take place in the town "Faaborg".
By other offers it can be other towns where we have contracts and special conditions.
§ 6. Location of groom and bride in Denmark before the wedding
By Speedy Wedding (Service A-1/FR/RR) the groom and bride have to stay at least one provable overnight inside the community before the marriage can take place. Bride and groom have to register in the city-hall the day before. If it's not the case the wedding can not take place. The location in the community where the couple stays before the wedding has to be proven. Every offer can have other conditions!
§ 7. Refusal We can refuse your application without giving reasons for it if there is an important reason or if our conditions not have been considered.
We do this in principle with people with bad and non social behaves.
§ 8. Cancellation of the order / Wedding commitment
Don't bock anything before you are sure, that you can fulfill this you book.
A cancellation of your order will cost minimum 50% of the full price for the booked arrangement. A correct cancellation where you can get 50% of the paid fee back must be made by service group "A-1-FR-Standdard / PLUS and "All inclusive" minimum 30 days or more before departure to Denmark. By offer "A-2 (High Speed Wedding)" 35 days before the already booked wedding date.
A cancellation less than 35 days before departure to Denmark there will not be refunded any money, because here we and the city hall already have organized and fixed all into a final status. You lose here the fee in full. The client must do the cancellation in written form in a postal registered letter.
Cancellation of hotels - Cancellations of booked hotels (by Speedy Wedding and Service group B-1) can be done without any costs if the cancellations are done before the cancellation deadline is running out. Every Hotel offer has there own deadline for cancellation. The deadlines for cancellation and conditions are written clearly on the hotel offer. By your order of cancellation of the arrangement, we automatically will do the cancellation of the hotel. (Not by service group B-1)
§ 9. TRANSFER / ALTERATION of already booked wedding dates:
Don't book a commitment without to be sure that you can fulfil this you book!
A transfer / Chance of an already booked wedding date are possible and are always connected with additional costs. Subject to availability
A transfer or Chance of an already booked marriage term costs 70 €, if the application will be done between 90 and 30 days, before the already planned arrival to Denmark.
The cost of a transfer / chance applied between 29 and 19 days will cost 224 - €.
A transfer or chance between 18 and 10 days before the planned arrival costs 300 €.
A transfer / chance under 10 days before the planned arrival is not possible and here the applicant / client lose the whole fee / dues for the commitment, because already all marriage records are now completely ready placed with us and the city hall.
However, the new date cannot take place under 30 days after the original booked date. Applications and a booking of a new wedding date there should take place earlier as 30 days after the originally booked term (Subject to availability ) will cost 350 €.
The client have to do this application in written form with a registered letter, however this can announce at first by telephone in the previously. If the new whished wedding date shall take place into another price season, then the client must pay the possible price difference additional for another price season. The new date must be within the subsequent 90 day. There is not any possibility to transfer / chance an already booked wedding commitment in the future of more than 90 days after the original booked commitment. The chance fee must arrive on our account within 5 days after the application.
§ 10. Prompt service by hurry situations
- will have no additional fee if this are in connection with a binding booking. We will do your paperwork at once in our office. Attention: By prompt service we make all weddings papers in full. In this case there will be no refund of the paid fee. Here you give us and the city hall the order to make up all in same moment.
You can come to us personally after having arranged an appointment with us by phone before and you will get information and your papers directly back.
If you make a time-appointment with us, you have to be exactly in time in our office. Unpunctuality can not be accepted. Maximum: 15 minutes later. Failure to come in without to cancel the appointment in time: 35,-€. You can't get a new appointment or service before this fee is paid in full. Canceling an appointment can only be accepted by phone and must be done minimum 8 hours before the planed appointment.
§ 11. Additional costs in Denmark - The wedding fee for the city-hall in Denmark of 500 DKK as well as hotel and travel expenses you have to pay additionally on the appropriate places directly in Denmark. This is valid by all offers with the name "Speedy Wedding" In case of taking the Service S-1/ "A-2" (High Speed Wedding) or "/A-1-FR-All-Inclusive" or offer "A-1-FR-PLUS" or "A-1-RR" there will be no fee to pay in Denmark by the city hall. By this Service are this fees included in the price.
§ 12. Personal consultancy: A personal consultancy will not have any additional Fee in connection with a binding booking. A personal consultancy without a binding booking will cost Fee: 35 € Personal consultancy can only be given if you have arranged an appointment with us by phone before. By time-appointment, you have to be exactly in time in our office. Unpunctuality can not be accepted. Maximum: 15 minutes later. Canceling an appointment can only be accepted by phone and must be done minimum 8 hours before the appointment.
§ 13. Border crossing - We don't take on any responsibility for perhaps problems with border infringements. Also family emigration after the marriage have not to do with the here offered service and are subject to the responsible law, where the application will be done. Persons there was entered as tourist in the Schengen area (Agreement), Unified States Europe (USE,), must be able to prove their allowed stay and legal entry with us and at the town hall in Denmark. There is not any return of duties if the mandatory documents are not brought to the town hall, missing or invalid visas, and illegal stay if you about this reason will be rejected from the city hall. People this on the basis of their citizenship needs a Visa for the Schengen Agreement, must provide even for it.
The Dänische Kommunal-Cooperative takes responsibility for citizens of the state in the service in the regulations of passport and a visa is offered as well as, to teach their possible alterations before the arrival to Denmark.
Early Booking: In case, that you or your partner need a visa for the Schengen area and not have gotten an necessary visas from the responsible diplomatic agency yet, yourself are responsible for the possibly emerging resignation costs or the total loss of the already paid dues, if she/he doesn't become the applied visa. Therefore: Do first make a binding booking if the visa already is issued. Don't make a binding book before the visa is issued.
Through the information description in our information's/records, you get all information about the necessary formalities. Please heed this information and one can inform additional about your responsible advisor. The service taker is even responsible for the transaction of the important rules for the observance of all. All disadvantages especially the payment of resignation costs or the total loss of the dues that arise through the non-observance of these rules goes to his loads.
§ 14. Act of God: We don't take on any responsibility by airplane, illness, fatality with act of God with the cancellation of trains, ferries, for example, strike or with meteorological hindrances.
§ 15. Visa: Persons, who need a visa for the "United States of Europe" (Schengen Agreement), have to take care of it on their own. They have to get a visa for the United States of Europe in their country of origin. (American citizen don't need visa for Denmark)
§ 15. Registration of the town hall
Bride and groom have to be promptly in time to register (the day before wedding by a speedy wedding) by the city hall. The exactly register time you find in the travel records. If you get late or not register in time or doesn't appear, or you forget to take the required original documents with you the wedding date is cancelled substitute-loosely.
This also is valid, if supposedly suddenly one or both partners became sick. In this case you loose all already paid fees, because all documents and performances for the marriage by us and the city hall are finally. A transfer to a new wedding commitment is no possible without to pay for a new commitment. For such cases, it would be cleverly to book Insurance. Which original documents you must take with you to Denmark are clearly written into the travel records in German or English Language?
It is no apology/excuse not to take the mandatory original documents with you up to Denmark only because you cannot read German or English.
If you not can master the German or English language then you should contact/move to a person there can master the language of your travel paper or even better, to let translate the travel records into your own language.)
It is not valid excuse / apology to let the booked date burst only because you got into a jam, because the car failed or, that the train had delayed. Timely arrival and careful planning of the travel time and traffic are necessary - and make also calculations for eventually meteorological hindrances. Therefore make calculations for such situations, so that you can appear promptly to the city hall exactly like written in the travel papers.
§17. American soldiers An American soldier who not was born in USA, have to prove us, that they are American citizen. Here you need: A passport or American Citizenship Certificate. WARNING: Don't book a commitment before you have a leave order or a guaranty from your commander that you can get free for the commitment.

*Saturday, Sunday and public holidays do not count as working days.

In this category everything is high-speed and efficient.

Its sole aim is to organize a high-speed marriage without complications and at a reasonable price.

In this case you simply report to the registry office and 15 minutes later you are married.
On reporting to the registry office your identity and documents are checked
to be on the safe side and then you go straight to the wedding hall.

With a "High-Speed-Wedding" (Super-Lightning-Wedding" (Service Group A-2) marriage ceremonies can take place on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and on a Friday.
**Subject to availability
Weddings on Saturday, Sunday and officials holydays is not possible.

With a "High-Speed-Wedding" you cannot choose the wedding location yourself - this is done by the authorities with which we have special contracts. Therefore you do not have a free choice of towns.

Language by the wedding ceremonies
Service A-2 can only be used by couples, when both of the partners are fluent in German or English.


Witnesses for the wedding can be provided free of charge between Monday and Friday.
You are of course welcome to bring your own witnesses with you.
Your witnesses can only be witness if they master Danish, English or German language.

The time you will need for preparations
For applicants who never have been married before (Marry tale status: "Single") or widowed persons the period for processing complete and correct applications is minimum 25 days from the date of receipt of payment.
Lowest time limit: 25 days before the planet wedding date.
By booking up to
the lowest time limit (minimum 25 days before the wedding) you have to pay the highest price.
By early booking (90
days before the wedding date) you pay the lowest price.
Please look in the price list and find your best price.

Attention: Service takers of the High-Speed-Wedding should first check the availability of wedding times by phone.

Here you should know the exactly date you want to merry and one extra date, if the first whished date not possible are.
Don't call us and ask for possibilities of a date before you are sure that you have free time to fulfill the commitment.
If you are soldier, then talk first with you commander about eventually free time on this days you want to marry.

After your call we contact our community and ask for availability.

- If you wish can or cannot be fulfilled we call you.

After our confirmation you have to take action fulfill our conditions latest 48 hours after. If no action (no documents) from you will arrive latest 48 hours after confirmation, our offer will loose validity.
A new offer will not repeat because here the
client shows that no real serious interests exist.

To be successful you must book the wedding in good time.
It's normal, that High
Speed Weddings are most booked in full two week before. Try to book so early as possible.

Attention please: There can not be made any reservation of a wedding time before all conditions are fulfilled.
The same if the marriage declaration not is filled in and signet.

Now we come to the documents required
Before starting, please note the following situations where misunderstandings and difficulties all too often occur when the applicant fails to study the subject matter sufficiently.
Most mistakes occur due to the fact that information has not been read carefully enough.

Other problems occur when people do not have the intellectual capacity to comprehend simple pieces of information.

In order to ensure that as many people as possible understand the subject matter, we have given all the information clearly and simply.

Please note the great difference between a copy, an officially certified copy and an original - they are not the same.

If we write that we need a "copy", then we mean a normal copy, which you can make yourself. (In this case you should not send us any original documents).

Divorce decrees will only be taken in original documents issued from the court house with original seals from the Court house.
Certification
of Validity: A certification of validity is an official confirmation by the court on the divorce papers which shows the date when the divorce decree became absolute.
Divorce decrees whiteout this certification will not be accepted.

All copies have to be of a good quality and as clear as a normal photo. We cannot make use of poor quality copies.

Now we come to the documents required

In the first example here we only talk about persons with American citizenship and soldier of the US-Army with the marital status "Single".
Single means that no of the both persons has been married before.

Incoming mail
Documents which are sent to us are registered in our postal section. The applicants/clients name is recorded in the list of incoming post. The envelope is opened there and the contents checked.

If payment has been made correctly, the documents are transferred to our secretarial section and our service goes into action.

If payment has not yet been received, our service cannot be activated and the documents will be stored in the postal section until payment is received.

We regret that some people's failure to make prompt payment has forced us to apply this procedure so strictly and hope that it meets with your understanding.

From now on you do not need to do anything.
A phone call enquiring about the whereabouts of the documents is not necessary and would even be a hindrance for our employee, who would have to interrupt her intensive work.

Phone calls do not speed up the processing but rather more prevent our employee from progressing smoothly with her work, because of the continual interruptions.

Phone calls automatically prolong the processing time for the documents by one day, because the otherwise automatic progress of the procedure is interrupted.

We try at all costs not to adopt typical German procedures ….

…and assume that you have come to our company, because you would like to avoid bureaucracy.

If you nevertheless require confirmation of receipt of payment and the documents, please make a note of this in the Arrivals and Departures questionnaire (4).

Provided that you have entered your E-mail address in clearly legible writing, we will inform you of receipt by Email within 2 days.

If anything is missing or something is not correct with the documents or we still have some questions, we will get in contact with you.

If the documents arrive more than 2 weeks in advance of the date of arrival, we will wait until 14 days before this date and then send you them automatically.

If the date of arrival is within 14 days we will dispatch the documents without further delay.

If the desired wedding date has been entered in the questionnaire form, we will automatically send you the travel documents. You do not need to contact us.

If there are still any details which need clarification, then we will give you a call.

Please do not forget to give us the address to which your travel documents should be sent.

The wedding and travel documents contain all the information you will require for your marriage at the registry office and have been put together carefully so that you can hardly make a mistake.

They include the exact address and location of the registry office, a town map with a detailed description of the route to the registry office, the name of the person to be contacted at the town hall, the time for registration, the time for the actual wedding, the details of your arrival and departure, a map with your travel route clearly indicated, a map of the area with an index of street names.
We are sure that you will find that nothing is missing.


Names after the wedding
Whoever marries in Denmark cannot apply for any name changes in connection with the marriage.

The names after the marriage remain in the marriage Certificate unchanged for both parties.
If you would like to assume the name of the other partners after the wedding, then, you must make this application by the appropriate authority of your homeland.
The
Danish wedding Certificate says only that both parties are together married.

The height of the prices is different and depends on it, when the wedding should take place and when it is booked.

The below mentioned price is valid for the service per normal standard mail and only on condition, that all documents and the full payment were received by us timely before the arrival.

The advancement in a higher price category will happen, if your application, documents or payments will underflow the Deadline.
You decide consequently self the price rate with your activity.
….Early planning and booking saves money.
There are the budget prices for early booking and the most expensive for people, they all defer until the last moment.
Why so many people everything delays until the last moment is incomprehensible for us. Who plans to marry normally knows and plans this several months in advance.

Terms of Payment and there conditions

TERMS OF PAYMENT and there conditions
§1
. The processing of your paperwork will first start when
1.) We have received your complete papers and
2.) The appropriate fee has been credited on our bank account or paid in cash.
Payments can be paid in cash in our office or done by bank transfer.
The fee must be on our account before we start with the paper work and send you all the necessary information concerning your travel to Denmark.
With sending or giving us your papers, you confirm automatically the terms of payment and the business conditions fore this Service group you book.
Attention Deadlines: Every offer can have different "Deadlines" (minimum filing limit). These "Deadlines" are clearly written by every offer.
If all shall run to the normal standard price, please hold all conditions to the limit.
By offer A-1-FR with possibility of discount through early booking you can get the best price by delivering your documents and payment very early.
By delivering more than 90 days before the wedding you get the best price and the highest price will be by delivering into the minimum deadline of 18 days before the wedding. By underflow of the minimum deadline of 18 days by offer A-1-FR will cost you 100 € additional to the normal fee. Deadline by offer "A-2-Special" are 25 days. Every underflow of the 25 days Deadline will cost 100 € additional (Extra) to the normal fees in the price list.
§ 2. Payment by bank transfer
(We don't take payment paid by check and credit card)
We can start with the paperwork at once if you make a "Direct Pay-In" on our bank account by a Bank with the name "Post Bank".
If you go to another Bank institute with another name, you can't make a "Direct Pay-In". Here you can only give the bank an order to transfer the money to our bank. By bank transfer we will first start the paperwork after the money has been credited on our account. A receipt of the bank transfer can't guarantee that the payment will be credited. Bank transfer can take about 4-5 days and should not be done if it is an urgent case. If you are in hurry, we can also send the Travel documents back by "UPS" In this case you have to pay 25 € extra to the Service fee (by delivery between Monday and Friday). (Delivering to APO addresses is not possible. Here you need a real postal address with name of streets and area code.)
The price is valid for delivery inside Germany. Delivering in to other States it's necessary to ask us after the price. This is valid, if offers not saying others.
By "Service offer S-1/A-2 (High Speed Wedding) and "A-1-FR-All Inclusive" are the fee for the city hall included in the price. Wedding dates/reservations for persons who are divorced or widowed can only be fixed if the divorce decree(s) or dead certificates fulfill all conditions. They are written clearly in the Information.
All the required papers have to been sent with normal mail and not by registered Mail. By all payments please doesn't forget to indicate the names of both partners on the transfer slip. If you send us money from other countries - If you transfer money from other countries they no European currency has then take care that the bank will send us amount in full height.
§3. Receiving & mailing of documents - We can not take over the responsibility for late arrivals of your mail caused by the German mail.
You have to send your papers right on time and to fulfill all the requirements.
The complete papers have to send by normal postal mail. By Offer "A-1-FR Standard", "A-1-FR-PLUS" and "A-1-FR-All-Inclusive" All documents and the full payment have to be by us minimum 18 days before departure to Denmark. By offer A-1-RR and "A-1-AEK" we need all documents and the full payment minimum 30 days before departure to Denmark. By offer "A-2-Special High Speed Wedding" we need all documents and the full payment minimum 25 days before the planed wedding date.
If it's an urgent case, we can send back the travel papers by UPS if you pay 25 € plus in advance. Delivering by UPS only to German postal addresses and not to APO addresses.
§ 4. Responsibility of original documents - We can't take over the responsibility of your papers and original documents which got lost in the mail so that it is more secure if you send to us notified copies. (Divorce decrees and dead certificates must be in original) If you send us documents and against our conditions not have paid the fee for the service and you want to have this document back by postal mail, then you must pay for the emerging costs. Stamps - package and transportation to the mailbox.
For this service we take 10 € for sending the documents by normal postal way.
In case that you not pay this fee latest 30 days after receiving the documents, your accept that the documents will be destroyed after 90 days.
§5. Location of the speedy wedding - You can't choose your own wedding location if you want to use Service group A-1 and "S-1/ A-2/MA / NA".
By Service group A-1-FR the Marriage will take place in the town "Faaborg".
By other offers it can be other towns where we have contracts and special conditions.
§ 6. Location of groom and bride in Denmark before the wedding
By Speedy Wedding (Service A-1/FR/RR) the groom and bride have to stay at least one provable overnight inside the community before the marriage can take place. Bride and groom have to register in the city-hall the day before. If it's not the case the wedding can not take place. The location in the community where the couple stays before the wedding has to be proven. Every offer can have other conditions!
§ 7. Refusal We can refuse your application without giving reasons for it if there is an important reason or if our conditions not have been considered.
We do this in principle with people with bad and non social behaves.
§ 8. Cancellation of the order / Wedding commitment
Don't bock anything before you are sure, that you can fulfill this you book.
A cancellation of your order will cost minimum 50% of the full price for the booked arrangement. A correct cancellation where you can get 50% of the paid fee back must be made by service group "A-1-FR-Standdard / PLUS and "All inclusive" minimum 30 days or more before departure to Denmark. By offer "A-2 (High Speed Wedding)" 35 days before the already booked wedding date.
A cancellation less than 35 days before departure to Denmark there will not be refunded any money, because here we and the city hall already have organized and fixed all into a final status. You lose here the fee in full. The client must do the cancellation in written form in a postal registered letter.
Cancellation of hotels - Cancellations of booked hotels (by Speedy Wedding and Service group B-1) can be done without any costs if the cancellations are done before the cancellation deadline is running out. Every Hotel offer has there own deadline for cancellation. The deadlines for cancellation and conditions are written clearly on the hotel offer. By your order of cancellation of the arrangement, we automatically will do the cancellation of the hotel. (Not by service group B-1)
§ 9. TRANSFER / ALTERATION of already booked wedding dates:
Don't book a commitment without to be sure that you can fulfil this you book!
A transfer / Chance of an already booked wedding date are possible and are always connected with additional costs. Subject to availability
A transfer or Chance of an already booked marriage term costs 70 €, if the application will be done between 90 and 30 days, before the already planned arrival to Denmark.
The cost of a transfer / chance applied between 29 and 19 days will cost 224 - €.
A transfer or chance between 18 and 10 days before the planned arrival costs 300 €.
A transfer / chance under 10 days before the planned arrival is not possible and here the applicant / client lose the whole fee / dues for the commitment, because already all marriage records are now completely ready placed with us and the city hall.
However, the new date cannot take place under 30 days after the original booked date. Applications and a booking of a new wedding date there should take place earlier as 30 days after the originally booked term (Subject to availability) will cost 350 €.
The client have to do this application in written form with a registered letter, however this can announce at first by telephone in the previously. If the new whished wedding date shall take place into another price season, then the client must pay the possible price difference additional for another price season. The new date must be within the subsequent 90 day. There is not any possibility to transfer / chance an already booked wedding commitment in the future of more than 90 days after the original booked commitment. The chance fee must arrive on our account within 5 days after the application.
§ 10. Prompt service by hurry situations - will have no additional fee if this are in connection with a binding booking. We will do your paperwork at once in our office. Attention: By prompt service we make all weddings papers in full. In this case there will be no refund of the paid fee. Here you give us and the city hall the order to make up all in same moment.
You can come to us personally after having arranged an appointment with us by phone before and you will get information and your papers directly back.
If you make a time-appointment with us, you have to be exactly in time in our office. Unpunctuality can not be accepted. Maximum: 15 minutes later. Failure to come in without to cancel the appointment in time: 35,-€. You can't get a new appointment or service before this fee is paid in full. Canceling an appointment can only be accepted by phone and must be done minimum 8 hours before the planed appointment.
§ 11. Additional costs in Denmark - The wedding fee for the city-hall in Denmark of 500 DKK as well as hotel and travel expenses you have to pay additionally on the appropriate places directly in Denmark. This is valid by all offers with the name "Speedy Wedding" In case of taking the Service S-1/"A-2" (High Speed Wedding) or "/A-1-FR-All-Inclusive" or offer "A-1-FR-PLUS" or "A-1-RR" there will be no fee to pay in Denmark by the city hall. By this Service are this fees included in the price.
§ 12. Personal consultancy: A personal consultancy will not have any additional Fee in connection with a binding booking. A personal consultancy without a binding booking will cost Fee: 35 € Personal consultancy can only be given if you have arranged an appointment with us by phone before. By time-appointment, you have to be exactly in time in our office. Unpunctuality can not be accepted. Maximum: 15 minutes later. Canceling an appointment can only be accepted by phone and must be done minimum 8 hours before the appointment.
§ 13. Border crossing - We don't take on any responsibility for perhaps problems with border infringements. Also family emigration after the marriage have not to do with the here offered service and are subject to the responsible law, where the application will be done. Persons there was entered as tourist in the Schengen area (Agreement), Unified States Europe (USE,), must be able to prove their allowed stay and legal entry with us and at the town hall in Denmark. There is not any return of duties if the mandatory documents are not brought to the town hall, missing or invalid visas, and illegal stay if you about this reason will be rejected from the city hall. People this on the basis of their citizenship needs a Visa for the Schengen Agreement, must provide even for it.
The Dänische Kommunal-Cooperative takes responsibility for citizens of the state in the service in the regulations of passport and a visa is offered as well as, to teach their possible alterations before the arrival to Denmark.
Early Booking: In case, that you or your partner need a visa for the Schengen area and not have gotten an necessary visas from the responsible diplomatic agency yet, yourself are responsible for the possibly emerging resignation costs or the total loss of the already paid dues, if she/he doesn't become the applied visa. Therefore: Do first make a binding booking if the visa already is issued. Don't make a binding book before the visa is issued.
Through the information description in our information's/records, you get all information about the necessary formalities. Please heed this information and one can inform additional about your responsible advisor. The service taker is even responsible for the transaction of the important rules for the observance of all. All disadvantages especially the payment of resignation costs or the total loss of the dues that arise through the non-observance of these rules goes to his loads.
§ 14. Act of God: We don't take on any responsibility by airplane, illness, fatality with act of God with the cancellation of trains, ferries, for example, strike or with meteorological hindrances.
§ 15. Visa: Persons, who need a visa for the "United States of Europe" (Schengen Agreement), have to take care of it on their own. They have to get a visa for the United States of Europe in their country of origin. (American citizen don't need visa for Denmark)
§ 15. Registration of the town hall - Bride and groom have to be promptly in time to register (the day before wedding by a speedy wedding) by the city hall. The exactly register time you find in the travel records. If you get late or not register in time or doesn't appear, or you forget to take the required original documents with you the wedding date is cancelled substitute-loosely. In this case you have to pay for a new commitment once more.
This also is valid, if supposedly suddenly one or both partners became sick. For such cases, it would be cleverly to book a travel Insurance.
By provable severe (very serious) malady and serious accidents where one of the partners will be delivered into a hospital, exceptions could be done.
An original confirmation of the hospital is necessary. By serious traffic accidents we need a confirmation from the Police. This attestations must indicate all necessary telephone numbers of the Hospital/Police station, so that we can make control of this certificate/attestation are legal.
Attestations from issued from a normal medical house doctor will not be accepted as prove.
In case of serious accidents and serious illness the fee/due for transfer the commitment in to a new date will cost 84 €.
A transfer to a new wedding commitment is no possible without to pay for a new commitment. For such cases, it would be cleverly to book Insurance. Which original documents you must take with you to Denmark are clearly written into the travel records in German or English Language?
It is no apology/excuse not to take the mandatory original documents with you up to Denmark only because you cannot read German or English.
If you not can master the German or English language then you should contact/move to a person there can master the language of your travel paper or even better, to let translate the travel records into your own language.)
It is not valid excuse / apology to let the booked date burst only because you got into a jam, because the car failed or, that the train had delayed. Timely arrival and careful planning of the travel time and traffic are necessary - and make also calculations for eventually meteorological hindrances. Therefore make calculations for such situations, so that you can appear promptly to the city hall exactly like written in the travel papers.
§17. American soldiers An American soldier who not was born in USA, have to prove us, that they are American citizen. Here you need: A passport or American Citizenship Certificate. WARNING: Don't book a commitment before you have a leave order or a guaranty from your commander that you can get free for the commitment.
